9.14.22 – Rebrand to Women’s Red Apple Foundation

NEWS RELEASE  – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Women’s Chamber Foundation is proud to announce its rebranding as the Women’s Red Apple Foundation of Palm Beach County effective immediately.

The Foundation seeks to uplift and inspire women in the community who are seeking higher education by providing scholarships and mentoring. The red apple has served as its icon and for many years donations have been collected in red apples at fundraising events.

“We are thrilled to announce our rebranding as the Women’s Red Apple Foundation as we continue our Mission of linking ladies to learning,” said Danielle Shull, Board President. “We have grown so much as an organization and look forward to continuing to grow and provide more scholarships to women in the community.”

The Foundation raises funds throughout the year through various events, culminating in the Annual Scholarship Luncheon in June. Funds also come from donations, endowment, businesses, and individuals that support recipients over multiple years.

The Foundation provides scholarships for both graduating high seniors and those seeking education later in life – over the past 19 years, 74% of scholarship recipients are between 18-22 years of age and 26% are 23-40+. This year a record number of scholarships in the amount of $50,000 were awarded to 25 women who reside in Palm Beach County.
